Day 1: Arrival

We await you in the late afternoon at the ArabellaSheraton Alpenhotel at the Spitzingsee. During welcome drinks on the hotel patio you meet your fellow travellers and the Nostalgic escort team. You have time for a lap in the hotel pool or – weather permitting – in the Spitzingsee before dinner in the hotel.

Day 2: The Five Lakes Tour

The Nostalgic fleet is presented after breakfast. You are made familiar with the classic car and briefed on the roadbook. Then you’re off: over the Spitzingsattel downhill towards Schliersee following the Deutsche Alpenstrasse (German Alpine Way). You pass Tegernsee and continue over the Achenpass to Sylvensteinsee. Here you follow the upper reaches of the River Isar to Walchensee and Kochelsee before returning at noon-time to the south shore of the Starnberger See. Together we visit the famous Kloster Benediktbeuren. In the afternoon we drive along the east shore of the Starnberger See towards Bad Tölz and Gmund from where you return to Spitzingsee.

Day 3: Ludwig II ., Chiemsee and Wendelstein

Today’s stage leads past typical Bavarian villages through Bad Feilnbach, Neubeuern and Simssee to Prien on the Chiemsee. Enjoy the impressive alpine panorama at the wheel of a classic convertible. It is no wonder that »Mad King« Ludwig II of Bavaria loved this countryside and built Schloss Herrenchiemsee, modelled on Versailles, here in 1878. The return trip continues on the Deutsche Alpenstrasse towards Bayrischzell at the foot of the Wendelstein and on towards Spitzingsee, where you return »your« classic car.

Day 4: The Altbayerische Dorf

Spend your departure day as you like: we would love to accompany you in a bus to the »Altbayerische Dorf« from skiing whiz Markus Wasmeier. Or you can relax in the generous Altira Spa Wellness area of the hotel in front of the wildly romantic backdrop of the Spitzingsee.
